Joyland Amusement Park page 3
This part of Joyland has been closed for years. Here is one of the 5 coaches for the train.
They have a real caboose at the end of the street.

Here is an old wood burning stove still in the caboose.
Most of the building are beyond repair in this section but there is plenty of land for expansion for future rides.
Behind the train depot is a large sky coaster. This used to be where the pool was but it was filled in to add this attraction.
Here you can see what was once the old changing area and showers for the pool.
Here is more of the midway. In some of these buildings they have stored rides and also the antique merry go round.
The horses get a fresh coat of paint every year by Stan Nelson.
Here are the custom painted ferris wheel seats.
They have the JP logo on them as do the Tilt-A-Whirl tubs.
This was originally in the Kiddy Land park in Wichita and was moved to Joyland when the two parks combined. It's actually modeled after a combat boot.
Bulgy the Whale is a very popular kiddy ride.
The Jayhawk is the mascot of Joyland. You can find it throughout the park. This is located on the Dodgem building.
